David Hawkins
David Hawkins is a Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. David has worked in a variety of settings such as public mental health services, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and schools within the Catholic Education System. Moreover, he has been an esteemed lecturer at institutions like Sydney University and Western Sydney University, contributing to the domains of psychology, education, and speech pathology.
David’s training encompasses a wide array of therapies, from the conversational model and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) to dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and short-term psychodynamic approaches.
With over 15 years of experience in psychological assessments in the education system, David offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for conditions like autism spectrum, attention deficit/hyperactivity, intellectual disability, giftedness, and other academic and cognitive assessments across all age groups.
